How trends are ranked
Each outcome’s move is its current price minus its price at the start of the period, in percentage points. Candidates are the 1,400 most traded open Polymarket markets and up to 600 of the most traded open Kalshi markets. Markets that settle within 48 hours (mostly live games) markets opened during the period, single-game sports markets, outcomes traded less than 1k (24 hours), 5k (7 days) or 10k (30 days) in the period, and outcomes that have effectively settled (below 5% or above 95%) are left out, and each event contributes at most two outcomes.

Polymarket moves come from its Gamma price-change fields and charts from its CLOB price history. Kalshi moves and charts use the bid–ask midpoint of hourly (daily for 30 days) candles. Rankings refresh every four minutes; times are in your local time zone. Not advice.
